Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is stirring up India’s premium segment once again, officially launching the iQOO 15 on November 26, 2025. With its combination of cutting-edge hardware—including the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a vast 7,000mAh battery—iQOO is making a strong play for performance enthusiasts and power users alike.

Powerful Hardware and Display

The iQOO 15 stands out as the third smartphone in India to feature the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm’s 3nm powerhouse aimed directly at challenging Apple in global emerging markets. Paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, the device promises blistering speeds, fluid multitasking, and smooth gaming. On the front, there’s a massive 6.85-inch Samsung 2K M14 OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an eye-popping 2,600 nits of brightness—perfect for vivid visuals whether outdoors or indoors.

The iQOO 15 also boasts the first launch in India of OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, superseding the previous FuntouchOS for a fresh software experience. Cooling is managed by an 8K VC Cooling System with an 8,000 sq mm heat dissipation area—the largest ever on an iQOO phone in India—designed to keep intense gaming and AI workloads running smooth.

Impressive Camera and Battery Tech

Photography fans will find plenty to like: the rear houses a versatile triple camera setup, each sporting a 50MP sensor. There’s a Sony IMX921 main module with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide. The 32MP front camera ensures selfies and video calls remain crisp.

Perhaps just as headline-grabbing: the phone packs a substantial 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest in the segment, and supports lightning-fast 100W wired charging plus 40W wireless charging out of the box. With all this tech crammed inside, the iQOO 15 is relatively slim at 8.17mm and weighs in at around 220 grams.

Available in Alpha Edition (matte black) and Legend Edition (with a tri-colour logo), the iQOO 15 is offered in two memory variants: 12GB+256GB for ₹72,999 and 16GB+512GB for ₹79,999. Indian customers can pick up the phone from the official iQOO website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and other offline retailers starting today.
