Apple has announced the launch of its revamped Apple Business platform, set to go live on April 14, 2026. The new offering is designed to be an all-in-one solution for companies to manage devices, handle business communications, and connect with customers, all under the Apple ecosystem. Notably, Apple Business will now be free to use, making it a serious contender for businesses looking to streamline IT and digital operations—especially those without dedicated IT teams.
All-in-One Management for Companies of Every Size
The upgraded platform combines built-in mobile device management (MDM), business email and calendar services with custom domain support, and a suite of tools aimed at helping organizations run smoothly. With MDM, businesses get a comprehensive view of all their Apple devices, settings, and users from a single interface. The system includes Blueprints for fast device setup, as well as zero-touch deployment—meaning new iPhones, iPads, or Macs can be ready to go right out of the box, with preconfigured settings and essential apps.
For employee management, Apple Business centralizes onboarding, app distribution, and directory services for up to 500 users. Companies can use their existing custom domain or purchase a new one directly from Apple, simplifying email and calendar setup. Calendar delegation and a built-in company directory allow for smoother scheduling and easy employee connections—features often reserved for bigger corporate IT solutions.
Customer Outreach and Upgraded Support
Apple Business isn’t just about internal management. The platform now offers businesses a new way to reach local customers through Apple Maps-based advertising and place cards in Maps, Safari, and Spotlight. Wallet, email communications, and Tap to Pay are all integrated into the new centralized management UI, helping brands present a consistent experience across Apple’s services.
While the core platform is free, Apple offers optional upgrades. Companies can purchase additional iCloud storage or opt for AppleCare+ for Business, which starts at $6.99 per month per device, or $13.99 per month per user (covering up to three devices). That ensures expert support and added peace of mind for critical business hardware.
With today’s announcement, Apple is clearly targeting startups and small businesses—offering them a seamless way to handle tech needs from day one. Whether you’re a founder picking up your first MacBook, or a growing company looking to unify device management, email, and customer outreach, Apple Business looks set to shake up the market when it arrives in mid-April.
