Recently, Xiaomi launched the 8th-gen of its leading note series, the series shines in providing decent performance in the mid-range price segment. So tomorrow the company will put the Redmi Note 8 on sale via Amazon at Noon; Xiaomi considers its Note 8 as an all-rounder so let’s see what it got.
The Redmi Note 8 is powered by the Octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC with up to 2.00GHz and 11nm process technology along with Adreno 610 GPU. The handset is packed with a fast-charging 4000 mAh battery and an 18W fast charger is supplied within the box.
On the front, there is an FHD+(1080 x 2340 pixels) 6.3 inches IPS LCD with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Handset weighs 190g due to it’s Front/back glass build, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner; and it is offered in four colors Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, Space Black and Cosmic purple with Aura design.
In terms of optics, there is a Quad camera setup at the back and a single 13MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture on the front. The quad-camera consists of a wide 48 MP shooter with f/1.8, ultrawide 8 MP with f/2.2, macro 2MP shooter with f/2.4 and lastly 2MP shooter for depth sensing.
Talking about the pricing and storage options, two storage options will be there with up to 512GB expansion, 4+64GB at Rs.9,999 and 6+128GB at Rs. 12,999. The MIUI 10 and Android 9 Pie will be available out of the box and update to MIUI 11 will arrive soon. The Redmi Note 8 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Type-C port as well.
