Samsung Electronics is making a bold move in 2026 by expanding its flagship Micro RGB TV lineup to a whopping six screen sizes, starting at 55 inches and topping out at an imposing 115 inches. The South Korean tech powerhouse announced the news on Wednesday, confirming it will unveil the full range—including new 55-, 65-, 75-, 85-, 100-, and 115-inch models—at the upcoming CES in Las Vegas, slated for January 6–9, 2026.

Bringing High-End Micro RGB to More Living Rooms

This expansion significantly broadens the scope of Samsung’s Micro RGB technology, which was previously limited to enormous screens like last year’s 115-inch titan. By adding models as small as 55 inches, Samsung is hoping to capture audiences who want next-generation visuals but don’t have the space (or budget) for truly massive TVs. “By expanding the lineup for 2026, we’re establishing a new premium category with sizes that span the full range of modern living spaces while maintaining our highest picture standards,” explained Hun Lee, Executive VP of Samsung’s Visual Display Business.

At the heart of these TVs is a next-gen display array of sub-100μm red, green, and blue LEDs, allowing for higher color volumes and pinpoint color accuracy that blows past traditional LED-LCD displays. Samsung’s 2026 lineup promises enhanced color precision, intelligent processing, and a new glare-free finish similar to the popular S95F OLED. Each model features advanced RGB dimming for improved dynamic range, and style tweaks to match a broader range of living rooms.

Audio, Competition, and What’s Next

As with its flagship models, all 2026 Micro RGB sets will support both Dolby Atmos and Samsung’s own Q-Symphony and Adaptive Sound Pro—plus support for the new spatial Eclipsa Audio. While Hisense and LG have also announced entries into RGB-based TVs, Samsung’s bet on a 55-inch model may finally push ultra-premium screens closer to mainstream adoption. However, pricing and exact release dates are still under wraps until CES.

Industry insiders say a smaller Micro RGB model could become the category’s “Goldilocks” sweet spot—not too big, not too expensive—for those who want best-in-class color and contrast but aren’t ready to shell out for wall-dominating screens. That said, all models may remain available only in selected markets, at least for the initial launch.

All eyes are now on CES 2026, where Samsung’s expanded Micro RGB lineup will take center stage and, perhaps, rewrite the rules for what makes a premium home TV in a crowded, rapidly evolving field.
