It looks Apple is going back to its past when they used to launch iPhones with a home button at the center bottom, back and before 2017. The last iPhone with the home button was launched in 2017, the Apple iPhone 8.

At the launch of the iPhone 8, Apple launched another flagship called Apple iPhone 10 with a full-screen display, no home button and the notch on top which suggested that the home button is gone from the future iPhones.

And now it looks like it is not the case anymore, Few reports hinted that the skipped Apple iPhone 9 will be coming in the first quarter of 2020 with the beloved Home button. For the iPhone 9, there are several leaks online which claims that Apple iPhone 9 will be the improved and enhanced version of Apple iPhone 8.
