Before the launch of Samsung Galaxy A71, The South Korean company decided to launch its predecessor ‘Samsung Galaxy A51’ in Indian Market on the 29th of January. Samsung announced this on Monday via Twitter with a short video teaser.
The smartphone comes with a new and familiar hole-punch display that houses a 32MP selfie camera; however, Samsung likes to call the display design as Infinity-O Display. Coming to the expected specifications of the smartphone, Under the hood, the Galaxy A51 is powered by Octa-core Exynos 9611 Chipset based on 10nm process technology along with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
In terms of memory and storage, the phone would come with 64GB and 128 GB UFS 2.0 expandable storage together with 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM options. On the front, there will be a 6.5-inch full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Punch-hole display. The Samsung Galaxy A51 is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging; it will run on Android 10 along with Samsung OneUI 2.0.
In terms of optics, there is a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the back, there is a quad-camera setup at the back which includes 48MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 12MP secondary shooter with an f/2.0 aperture for ultra-wide shots and 5MP macro sensor along with another 5MP shooter for depth sensing with an f/2.2 aperture.
furthermore, there would be an in-display fingerprint scanner and the phone will come in 5 color options. The price is not confirmed, but it is assumed to be around Rs. 22,990. So, this was for the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung also suggested the launch of Samsung Galaxy A71 in India which is expected for next month.
