Last year in October Google Launched Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL both phones had 4 GB of RAM, best Camera in the Segment, and overall Performance was foremost. But the Pricing of these Smartphones was also much higher than what was expected from Google, Pixel 2 was priced at Rs 61,000 & Pixel 2 XL Rs 73,000. And now in Oct 2018 Google Launched new Generation of the Pixel series and obviously the are Expensive too! The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL so lets dive in to the new Pixels!

Lets Start with Display, Earlier Pixels had Aspect Ratios of 18:9 and 16:9 and this time they are fairly Changed the Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.3 inch QHD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) Display with a big Notch above which gives the aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and Pixel 3 has 5.5 inch FHD+ (1080 x 2160) Display and a Aspect Ratio of 18:9. Both Phones has OLED Display Technology and both Displays are Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, Back Glass of these Smartphones are also protected by the Same Protection.

The Camera—

Now Talking about the Quite main topic the Camera both Pixels has Single 12.2 MP f/1.8 Lens Rear camera with OIS & Both has Dual 8 MP f/1.8 + 8 MP f/2.2 Front Camera. Rear Cameras can record video upto 2160p@30fps and Front camera can record upto 1080p@30fps. With the help of AI the camera Automatically recommends the best pics, when a moment is right, you can spent your time Creating & playing with Artificial Characters in the Camera.

All Cameras has Auto HDR support, This Phone also has Google Lens which can identify landmarks, plants and animals. etc. Google has something new called Super Res Zoom, what it does is keep pictures clear while zooming in. This phone also has Smart Google Photos Gallery where it sometime automatically create something new like gifs from the Gallery, Albums etc and it gives ample amount of storage online from Google Drive for Photos and Videos.

Both Pixels are Powered by 2.5 Ghz + 1.6 Ghz, 64-Bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC based on 10 nm Technology. It also a secondary chip called as Pixel Visual Core it is designed to compile HDR+ images 5 times faster than an application processor — with just 1/10th the power consumption. The Pixel Visual Core will also handle complex imaging and machine learning tasks related to the camera, which could come to include auto image adjustments based on the scene, among other uses.

Pixel 3 & 3 XL also has a dedicated hardware security module The Titan Security chip, called Titan M. And for the High end  Graphics it has Adreno 630 GPU. Both Pixel has 4 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal Storage which is a bit less compared to its competitors, also there is no slot for MicroSD card means you cannot expand the storage. Both phones has Smarter Battery it learns the usage to increase the battery life accordingly. Pixel 3 has Li-Ion 2915 mAh battery.

Pixel 3 XL has Li-Ion 3430 mAh Battery, both phones has Fast wireless Charging support with Qi Wireless Charging. it has Stereo Speakers and 3 mics for Proper Noise Cancellation. For the Phone Protection Google also selling new Designed Fabric Cases which are compatible with Qi Wireless Charging and Pixel Squeeze feature. This Time Google named Pixel 3 colors a bit weirdly, Both phones comes with color options like- Just Black, Clearly White, Not Pink.

Both Smartphones has Squeeze Feature— It launches Google Assistant which helps you to do various Tasks with just a simple squeeze to the Pixel.
